Are you interested in getting involved with our research? The Hominoid Evolution Research Group has opportunities for both graduate students and undergraduates to participate in research. Please contact Dr. Christopher Walker (christopher [underscore] walker [at] ncsu [dot] edu) and Dr. Kara Walker (kkwalker [at] ncsu [dot] edu) for information on current positions in our lab.
Prospective Graduate Students:
Dr. Christopher Walker is accepting graduate student applications through the Anthropology M.A. Program (Biological Anthropology specialization) in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology at North Carolina State University. Applicants should have a B.A., B.S., or equivalent, and a background in biological anthropology or a related field. Some prior research experience, especially involving paleoanthropology or skeletal biology, is highly preferred. If you are interested in applying, it is recommended that you e-mail Dr. Christopher Walker with a brief description of your research background and interests, and an attached CV.
The Hominoid Evolution Research Group is always looking for undergrads with a passion for fossils, primates, and/or evolution and a desire to participate in research. We have a limited number of work study opportunities and also accept students looking to complete an honors thesis or conduct research as a volunteer.
